2027 Tige Z1

Tige Z1
2027 · Surf boat · 21' 5" · 3,000 lbs ballast · up to 410 hp
The shortest hull in the Tige lineup.
Entry point into the Tige lineup, and the one to look at if your lake has a length limit or your garage has a depth limit. Shorter waterline than the RZX hulls, but the same Convex V bottom, the same 3,000 lb of sub-floor ballast as the Z3, and the same GO System helm — so the compromise is cockpit room and range, not wave quality. Tige's own comparison against the Z3 puts the gap at fuel (54 vs 75 gal), storage (94 vs 145 cu ft), and two seats.
New for 2027: GO System, powered by TAPS 3T, on a 12.1 in CLEAR Horizon touchscreen. Alpha E4 Powered Tower standard. Transom Surf Locker rated for four boards.
The 2027 Tige Z1 is configured to order, so there is no single sticker price — ballast, surf system, tower, audio, and trailer packages move the number by tens of thousands. The only accurate quote is the one a dealer builds against the spec you actually want.
Surfboat is not a dealer and does not sell boats. We keep the make and model catalog, and connect you to the dealers who stock them.
What to settle before you sign
- Build sheet, not brochure — Ask for the itemized build — ballast capacity, surf system, tower, speakers, heater, trailer. Two quotes on the same model are only comparable line by line.
- Delivery window — Order-to-delivery on a new surf boat commonly runs months, not weeks. Confirm the build slot in writing before you put money down.
- Freight, prep, and dealer fees — These sit outside the boat price and vary widely by dealer. Get them quoted up front so the comparison is apples to apples.
- Trade-in valued separately — Have the dealer price the new boat and your trade as two independent numbers. Bundled deals hide which side moved.
- Warranty and service location — Confirm who performs warranty work and how far you'll drive for it. A better price three states away can cost you every service interval.

- TAPS 3T trims the running surface itself rather than only dragging a plate, so the wave changes shape without moving ballast. One button sets cruise, ballast, and TAPS together; the surfer picks a wave range instead of individual settings.

- 2026-08-18
- Notes
- Both figures are Tige's own published 2027 numbers: base MSRP and the “as shown” build. Neither includes freight, dealer prep, or tax, and neither is what a dealer will quote — ask for an out-the-door number on a specific build.
Trailer and warranty
- Trailer
- Boatmate
- Axles
- 2
- Trailer notes
- Boat and standard trailer weigh 7,600 lb, so budget a tow vehicle for roughly 8,000 lb loaded. Trailer width runs 102–106 in. Overall towed length is 27 ft 2 in with the tongue extended, 24 ft 4 in folded — the folded figure is the one to measure your garage against. Whether the trailer sits inside the base MSRP varies by dealer.
- Component warranty
- 5 years
- Engine warranty
- 5 years
- Transferable
- Yes
- Warranty notes
- The Tige 5: five years on the Indmar Raptor powertrain, CLEAR Horizon electronics, Audison audio, and the Boatmate trailer. Separately, LifePlus covers hull replacement for structural delamination with no time limit, and both transfer once to a second owner. Tige does not publish a gelcoat term — ask, because gelcoat is the exclusion that most often bites.

- Notes
- Dimensions, weight, ballast, fuel, storage, seating, draft, tower clearances, and both price points are Tige's published 2027 figures. Not published, and therefore absent: deadrise, per-tank ballast split, ballast fill time, wave dimensions, top and cruise speed, fuel burn, fresh-water capacity, and the standard audio system's speaker and amplifier counts. Engine tier availability is Tige's lineup ladder read against Indmar's published Raptor figures, not a Z1-specific engine table. The equipment list is declared item by item from Tige's own pages rather than inheriting the catalog's category baseline, so a feature missing here means Tige does not publish it for the Z1 — not that the boat lacks it. Anything genuinely not offered would be marked `unavailable`.
